Experience
Choosing the right supplier to fulfil your next tubular project can be a challenging task. Here at Top Tubes, we have over 25 years of experience in the steel tube industry, with 15+ years knowledge and understanding of tube Laser processing.
Resource and Equipment
Following huge investment into the latest Trumpf & BLM Fiber Laser technology, along with a wealth of industry experience, we are capable of producing finished Laser processed components in a fraction of the time compared to conventional fabrication methods. What previously took several operations using conventional techniques, we can now accomplish with Laser tube processing in one operation.
Precision
With Top Tubes’ Laser technology, complete accuracy and repeatability are achieved. Not only is every piece consistently to specification and defect free, the standard of finish is unmatched, with clean, perfectly profiled edges free of the need for deburring.
Size range
We can process round tube up to 254mm diameter, and square & rectangular tube up to 220mm, plus angles, flats and channels. Our Trumpf TruLaser 7000 Fiber can handle a maximum raw material length of 9.2m, and has the capability of offloading finished parts up to a maximum length of 8m – so large-sized assemblies, such as those for the construction industry can benefit from precision Laser cut parts too.
Cost saving
By now, the production economies will be obvious to you. No multiple operations. No tooling costs. No mistakes and no wastage. And by making best use of our range of equipment, at Top Tubes we can maximise the economies.
Design capabilities
Solidworks is used for all of our 3D design work, and it is one of the most commonly used software’s in the manufacturing industry. Utilising this software allows us to read and interpret many different 3D file types and process components straight from a customer’s 3D CAD file. This reduces lead times, makes parts quick & simple to produce and right first time.
Some of the key benefits of Laser tube processing:
- Eliminates separate sawing, scribing, drilling, milling and punching
- Eliminates tooling costs
- Eliminates cutting to length, deburring and manipulation
- Unlimited design options
- Consistent, accurate, quality results
- Minimal set-up time
- Shorter implementation and production cycle
- Prototypes and redesigns in minutes
- Lower development costs
- Quicker time-to-market
- Makes adventurous new designs possible
