Top Tubes has announced the sale of its electrical conduit division, Top Tubes Electrical, to electrical product manufacturer, Deta Electrical.

Top Tubes Managing Director Adam Bradley said, “For some time now it’s been felt that electrical conduit and fittings fell outside the mainstream of Top Tubes’ activity, being largely a commodity product offering limited scope for development and product differentiation from the Top Tubes’ perspective, but we’re confident that Top Tubes Electrical will thrive as a complementary part of a business with electrical products at its heart”.
The sale of Top Tubes Electrical will enable Top Tubes to focus more resource and expertise on the development of its core activities and core markets, especially in the more demanding sectors where its expertise is at a premium.
Increasingly, customers are viewing Top Tubes as not just a steel tube producer but an important contributor to their own product development programmes, where we can meet the challenges posed with our unique knowledge and skills and specialised capabilities such as laser tube processing.
