Work is progressing apace on the preparations for the new coil slitting line at Top Tubes.
Two enormous excavations – up to 20 ft deep by 50 ft wide – have already been created to accommodate the uncoiler well and the looper well, and a third excavation, to take the recoiler well, is about to be started. The planned slitting line – one more element in Top Tubes’ ongoing investment programme – is due for completion in March.
